To provide the best standing reminder experience, Standee may require the following system permissions:
Accessibility Permission: Used to detect user activity status and application usage to provide standing reminders at appropriate times. This permission is solely used to optimize reminder functionality and is not used to collect or store any user data.
Microphone Permission: May be used to detect environmental audio activity to determine if the user is in an important meeting or call, allowing for intelligent adjustment of reminder timing. All audio processing is performed locally on your device, and no audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Standee may request macOS Screen Recording permission solely to detect whether a full-screen video is playing, in order to pause and resume media during standing breaks. Standee does not save screenshots or video, does not perform OCR or content extraction, and does not transmit any screen content off the device. Processing occurs in volatile memory only and is discarded immediately after determining the playback state. No data from this feature is shared with third parties.
No screen recording data is persisted to disk. Temporary buffers are in-memory and immediately discarded.
No screen recording data or signals derived from it are shared with third parties.
Direct Purchase: If you purchase a license directly, transactions are handled by third-party payment processors, and we do not store your payment information
Mac App Store: If purchased through the Mac App Store, all transaction data is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
No Third-Party Integration: The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services
No Data Sharing: Since we don't collect data, there is no data sharing with third parties
Application: Does not use cookies, pixel tags, or any tracking technologies
Website: Our marketing website may use basic web analytics, but this is completely separate from the application
